Shattered World Game 9: A Hollow Promise

Urthir, the God of Knowledge has brought forth long forgotten information, previously lost to time. The library of Ire swells with knowledge and the Pantheons, empowered by this knowledge, return to Nexus to claim the power of the Leylines. But Ire itself hangs in the balance as external forces seek to influence the direction of the neutral town at the center of Nexus. Veterans from Cebek fill the town to earn gold and fame for themselves and the Empire.

The drone of the leylines begins again, and the Pantheons call upon beacons of civilization across Veridian to send their Warbands to Nexus to join them in the coming battle.

GENERAL TICKETS

Note: if you have bought a Shattered World Game 9 2020 ticket they will be honored, please contact us at Shatteredworldinc@gmail.com or message us through our facebook page if you want to check your ticket.

All ticket purchases must go through the Shattered World ticket website. Payment is available online via PayPal or cash via purchasing from the relevant Committee member or Organiser. Online sales will stop on Thursday the week before the Shattered World LARP event. All Shattered World participants must purchase an Early Bird, Standard or Late Ticket, as well as the appropriate LARP West insurance coverage. 

Early Bird Tickets: $80 full weekend – available from the date of announcement of Ticket sales for a period of 5 weeks.

Standard Tickets: $95 full weekend – available from the end of the Early Bird period through to 2 weeks before the game.

Late Tickets: $120 full weekend – available from the end of the Standard Tickets period through to the end of the game. If you purchase a Late Ticket on site you will be charged an additional $20 fee. 

Premium Option: $30 additional to the ticket price – available at all times. Selecting this option will reward you with a special support box, full of items that show appreciation for your additional money towards the game. 

 

SPECIAL CATEGORY TICKETS

Full Time Staff Ticket: $1 – available for the entire Ticket sales period. To purchase a Full Time Staff Ticket, the Lead Organiser must approve the member as a Full Time Staff member.

Vendor Ticket: $10 per day – available for the entire Ticket sales period. To purchase a Vendor Ticket, the Shattered World Larp Inc board must approve the applicant as a registered Vendor before the Standard Ticket period closes. 

 

REFUNDS

Refunds will only be available for the following Ticket types:

• Early Bird Tickets – No questions asked
• Standard Tickets – Case by case basis
• Late Tickets – Case by case basis

Refunds for Tickets will be available until the close of business on the Monday preceding the Shattered World LARP event. This allows for players who are unsure if they will have leave approved, work, or other commitments, to purchase a Ticket early while allowing them to recover funds if they are unable to attend the game or event.

To refund a Ticket, the player must contact the Shattered World LARP team with written notification via email shatteredworldinc@gmail.com or Facebook message to the Shattered World LARP page before the close of business on the Monday preceding the Shattered World LARP event. 

If the Ticket is a Standard or Late Ticket, the player must provide comprehensive evidence that the circumstances causing the player to be unable to attend the game were completely unforeseen and out of their control. Considering the Early Bird Ticket option is cheaper and has an easier refund option, refunds for Standard Tickets will only be issued in extreme circumstances.

All refunds will be endorsed by the Shattered World LARP Incorporated Board at the post-game meeting, and funds transferred by EFT to the individual’s nominated bank account details.
